Full-Time Enrolment at Ontario Education Online

Full-time enrolment is not a discount on individual courses. It is a different service. You get a bank of credits, a guidance counsellor who owns your route to the OSSD, and every assessment and administration service we offer — included, not billed separately.

What is included at no extra cost

PLAR competency & placement assessment $150 value
Prerequisite assessment $150 value
OEN & OSR administration $150 value
International student registration (international students) $150 value
Credit transfer & prior-learning evaluation Full-time only
Personal guidance session & OSSD pathway plan Included

Credit transfer and prior-learning recognition are only available to full-time students. If you have studied elsewhere — in Ontario, another province, or another country — this is what turns that prior work into credits toward your diploma instead of courses you pay to repeat.

How the credit bank works

You purchase a block of credits and draw them down over a 12-month enrolment term that begins the day your courses open, not the day you pay. You choose your courses after you enrol, with a guidance counsellor — never blind at checkout.

How many credits do I need?

  • Grades 9-11: a full course load is 8 credits per year
  • Grade 12: most students take 6-8 credits
  • The OSSD requires 30 credits in total — your guidance session maps exactly how many you still need

2-4 courses at a time, not eight

We open 2-4 courses at once. As soon as you finish one, the next opens automatically, so you always have 2-4 running and never wait.

This is deliberate. Students who open a full year of courses simultaneously spread themselves thin and stall out around the third credit. Three at a time is how students actually finish eight credits in a year. Your guidance counsellor sets the order with you and can adjust the number where your situation calls for it.

How it works

  1. Choose your credit pack and region below.
  2. Complete the enrolment form we email you immediately after checkout, including your transcript.
  3. Book your free guidance session — we confirm prerequisites, evaluate transfer credits, and build your pathway plan.
  4. Your first three courses open in Google Classroom and your 12-month term begins.

Good to know

Credits may be applied to any course in our catalogue as it becomes available during your term. If a course you need is not yet offered, your guidance counsellor will sequence your plan around it. Unused credits remain available until the end of your 12-month term. Full-time tuition is a standalone rate and does not combine with the multi-course checkout discount.

Not sure which pack you need? Book a free guidance session and we will map your pathway before you pay.

Course Curriculum

What you'll cover in FULL-TIME

  • An Ontario Certified Teacher in Every Course - Every course is delivered and marked by a qualified Ontario Certified Teacher in that subject. No teaching assistants, no auto-graded shortcuts on the work that counts. You get real written feedback, a guaranteed marking turnaround, and a teacher you can reach throughout the course.
  • A Guidance Counsellor Who Owns Your Pathway - Assigned from day one. They map every one of the 30 credits you need, confirm prerequisites before you start a course, and line your selections up against the university, college or apprenticeship programs you are aiming for. Our guidance team reaches out to you directly after checkout - you are never left to work it out alone.
  • Credit Transfer & Prior Learning Evaluation - Available to full-time students only. If you have studied in Ontario, another province, or another country, we evaluate that prior work and turn it into credits toward your diploma instead of courses you pay to repeat. Includes the PLAR competency and placement assessment, normally $150.
  • OEN, OSR & Registration Handled For You - Ontario Education Number and Ontario Student Record administration, prerequisite assessment, and international student registration are all included. Billed separately, these come to over $450. As a full-time student you pay nothing for any of them.
  • A Pace Built to Get You Finished - We open three courses at a time rather than your whole year at once, and the next opens automatically as you finish one. Students who open everything at once tend to spread themselves thin and stall around the third credit. A few at a time is how students actually complete a full course load in a year.
  • Start Any Day, From Anywhere - There is no September start and no cohort to wait for. Your 12-month term begins the day your first courses open, and you keep access to your unused credits for the whole term. Canadian and international students welcome, in any time zone.

You work at your pace, and your grade reflects your actual understanding of the material.

As parents of a student who has completed a course with Ontario Education Online we would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Ramos for his continuous care, support and professionalism. Every step of the way our son was able to receive feedback and ongoing support. The ability to access course materials through platforms like Google Classroom made learning both convenient and efficient, helping develop strong organizational skills and time-management skills. This improved the overall learning experience. Our sons experience with OEO has been invaluable, and we would highly recommend it to others seeking a flexible and engaging learning environment.
